Off the record, anonymous, I'm not in charge or even a representative, but I bet you're looking into the Mars mission with all the locals organizing protests and everything: We're not "militarizing space" at this stage, not really. We're following up on the OTO trying to nuke us during that time loop - imPorts traced it back to them and they have a missile launch platform on Phobos. We don't have a ship (yet) and we haven't even managed to agree on whether we're going for recon, diplomacy, or retaliation.

It just sucks that they don't remember the time loop so they don't get that we're doing this to try and protect them.

Yeah, I agree. The paper wants to put imPorts on blast (#yikes), but I never thought it was that black and white to begin. Keep me posted when you guys agree on your type of mission, and what I can publish, and I'll pitch those articles ASAP.

I want to do what I can, and knowledge is always power.

Oh, wow, thank you - I'll talk to the team and get back to you. Do you think you could do an interview or something? Not with me, I am not a word person, which is probably why neither the marines nor the Council [the ones in charge of her job which she's likened to being a galactic super agent] never managed to spring for media training for me back home.

Also... I don't see Barry's name on the contact list any more. How are you holding up? If it gets too lonely rattling around that apartment with all the memories of him, there's still a couple of rooms free at my place, and seriously, I could use another woman around here.

[ As kind as that offer is, Iris hesitates. Her apartment is filled with memories of Barry, and his presence, and yet... she can't find herself wanting to let go of that just yet. ]

It's weird, not having him around.
It's like... he's away at college, and I won't see him again until Spring Break. Idt it's really set in yet that he's gone.
The offer means a lot, btw, but let me think about it. I've still got a lot to sort through with my accountant.
